It’s easy to stand with the crowd. It takes courage to stand alone.
We all search for that one person to trust, that one person to always have our back and remain loyal to us no matter what.
While some of you may have that one person in your life, there is no one better than YOU.
Looking back to when I played professional golf I can honestly say I wish I knew what I know now back then. I know that is so cliché but in this case, it’s the truth. When I played professionally I sometimes doubted myself, put myself down when I didn’t perform the way I should have and even sometimes envied other players who were playing better than me. If only instead I realized who I was. If only I understood that with each good and bad shot, each round and each competitive opportunity I was given, I was learning about myself and how I was bettering myself each and everyday.
Being your own best friend is the best advice I can give you. There are many times in life we will feel alone or lost and these are the times we must challenge ourselves by believing and trusting in who we are.
The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate
